Google matches words to websites, it doesn’t answer questions.
Asking "How to fix a flat tire" is better than "How can I fix my car's flat tire?" because you can find an article titled "How to fix a flat tire."
There is no webpage titled "How can I fix my car's flat tire."
1. What if you had to cut a pineapple for the first time? How would you find out how? Where would you search? Find a webpage and a video that show how to cut a pineapple. Do you think it's easier to understand the webpage or the video?
2. Your parents finally agree to let you get a dog! But now you need to figure out what kind of dog you want. Your first search on Google for "Dog Breeds" turns up 1,000's of pages/ How do you narrow the search results to find out what breed of dog would fit best with your family? Look at the first link on the each of the 5 pages of the Google search that would help you pick a good breed of dog and rank them on usable from most usable to least usable. Is there a pattern? Why do you think the results become less usable as you go further into the search results?
